AFL leadership is so far in front of the NRL

While I'll admit that the AFL is better run then the NRL. There are certain things that make them delusional i.e West Sydney and in certain parts the Gold Coast.

Instead of making the existing teams stronger they chose to canabilise the Lions and the Swans by making a team that the locals are having a hard time to follow (its a bit hard to call yourself the GWS Giants when the team isn't located their), and a ordinary named Gold Coasst Suns.

What they should have done is keep working on the Swans and if they really wanted a Gold Coast team work with the Southport Sharks.

Another thing is when League was celebrating it's Centenary they come out and tried to steal league's thunder by saying it was the AFL's 150th anniversary but papers proved them wrong.

Union I actually have a lot of time for and like the way its run internationally but I don't have time for people who say that League is only played between 3-4 Nations

And you want a pre season cup after reading that lot?? Trials are bad enough for injuries, I don't see why we need a micky mouse comp that produces injuries. The only reason the AFL are doing it is because they're money hungy arseholes and want to squeeze as many dollars out of the season as they can.

That list would also include players injured from last season.

Fair dinkum the way some of you lot carry on about it you'll have the players playing in matresses

The way the NRL referees have gone nuts with penalties in the trials the last thing NRL needs is to have it shown on tv. People should be a getting refund at the gates.

What happened to the guy from the Western Bulldogs?

Sounds like he got hit by a truck.

Sydney might want to review their training methods

Lewis Roberts Thompson is soft. When I did my sciatic nerve during my days at Carlton I played through the pain.

I played 17 games in the AFL for the Blues before doing my knee.
