ADSL Modem any good?

  • We had an issue with background services between march 10th and 15th or there about. This meant the payment services were not linking to automatic upgrades. If you paid for premium membership and are still seeing ads please let me know and the email you used against PayPal and I cam manually verify and upgrade your account.

I was just given a Dell 5150 notebook (ironic I know, but I got it for the right price)
P4 3ghz cpu
15" screen
1 GB Ram
80 GB HDD
64 mb Video card
DVD/cd writer
Wireless networking

So I'm getting a wireless router Is this any good? I can get it for $190-

yeah not bad. But they are all pretty much the same. They all connect at relitvely the same speed etc.

I ended up buying a BIPAC Billion ADSl Router with 4 port switch, It only cost $160 about 9 months ago from http://www.megapc.com.au
 
that one was only 54, but considering my wireless card in my laptop barely exceeds that and the double speed over 3 metres wouldnt be noticable i hardly felt the extra $80 - $100 at the time was worth it
 
yeah the prices have come down a fair bit over the last year
 
Of all people byso I would have thought you would know the answer to this question.
