Tallis was an unusual player transfer player situation. There have been many others. Call Tallis whatever you like, but I admired his stance to sit out a year, whilst contracted with the Dragons, before he switched to Broncos. The Broncos have always been good at getting who they want.

If my memory serves me correctly Tallis wanted to sign with the Broncos but saints wouldn't release him from the final year of his contract. Saints wanted him to honor his contract. After all a contract is a contract right?

Rather than admire a person who was so determined to sign with another club and renege on the final year of his contract that he sat out an entire season in protest. Why don't you admire the club that insisted he honor it?

And as someone else has pointed out Tallis did not suffer financially because of his decision as Super League paid him while he sat out.

And why not? The family club can work miracles and they will sort all his problems in as little as three weeks.
