The three time former prime minister will formally announce the election promise on Tuesday afternoon, bringing the Federal Government contribution to $300 million. Manly chief executive Willie Mason said the club would aim to have an upgrade completed in time for the 2032 NRL season. Mr Mason said he also hoped to get approval for an upgrade to the signage on the Southern Stand. The facelift for the stadium is long overdue and will be completed after they find a sign writer familiar with names of Serbian heritage. A move that should undoubtedly delight the Trbojevic family.
