I'm hearing from insider at Titans we are getting Lachlan Burr, a Backrow/Lock, would have to be a filler for Blacktown Workers. Apparently the Titans fan base are over the moon to get rid of this guy, just saying.

The Canberra Raiders can confirm that former Queensland Origin player David Taylor has been offered a short-term agreement with the Raiders.

The agreement will run from the beginning of the Raiders pre-season and will be reviewed at the end of December. If the club is satisfied with his progress he will be given the opportunity to continue his next short-term goal of continuing pre-season training and the opportunity to play two trial games.

RLW.....

DON’T be surprised to see both Fifitas link up at the Knights.
The pair caught up with Nathan Brown to discuss a potential move – and it seems he’s willing to splash the cash for the bookends.
Andrew has two seasons to run on his contract but has made clear his desire to one day reunite with his twin brother.

The Mole ....
Wayne Bennett is considering tossing the veteran five-eighth Benji Marshall a one-year deal.
It will be on far less than the $500,000 Benji has been seeking – but the former Tigers star is fast running out of options.

The Knights are resigned to losing talented utility back Jake Mamo, leaving them relatively short of experience out wide.
Mamo is on contract for 2017 but has received a lucrative offer from former Knights coach Rick Stone at English club Huddersfield.

Former Eels back Ken Sio is trying to plot a return to the NRL.
The 25-year-old was in good form for Hull KR – too good for the Championship, following their relegation from Super League.
Other English clubs are interested but Sio may opt for a return home.

We would all agree we are the club Matagi is said to have signed with yeah!

Tonight we have confirmation Matagi has signed a contract to leave the riff, so it is sounding promising.

But the down side is the Matagi's contract is currently subject to salary cap approval.

IF IT IS US. our team is obviously close to maxing out our salary cap credit card.

The cap is a little complex. clubs do get Ian in to come and check the figures and confirm such things as 200k of Brett Stewart's contract need not be included in the cap Because it fits the requirements of a marque player exemption etc.

But if you need a ruling to confirm someone's in, There ain't a lot left.

Might explain shopping Parcell around as well.

We might need someone out to get Curtis Sironen in.

The Titans have zeroed in on Kevin Proctor, making a power play for the star backrower following the release of Greg Bird last week.

While Proctor still has two years to run on his current contract with the Storm, the Titans are prepared to offer him a lucrative three-year-deal worth $1.6 million.

Canberra hooker Kurt Baptiste has finally agreed to a two-year extension.

The Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs today announce that six new players will be joining the club in 2017 and beyond;
Rhyse Martin
Brenko Lee
Zac Woolford
Josh Cleeland
Tom Carr
Francis Tualau

The Lurker ....

The hottest rumour in rugby league has Jarryd Hayne back to Parramatta in 2019.

Hayne is under contract at Gold Coast for 2017 and 2018 but is privately telling mates he would love a final swansong at his former club.

By then, Parramatta will have fixed their salary cap issues too.

And by 2019, Hayne would be playing at the brand new Parramatta Stadium.

It's a long way off - but remember where you read it first.

Dane Gagai on the move from Newcastle after next season? That's what I keep hearing.

And an incumbent Queensland State of Origin player, Gagai would be a wonderful pick-up for any club.

He has a year to run on his deal and is unlikely to stay in the Hunter beyond 2017.

Rumour going around saying Parramatta about sign a player that was going to sign with us.

It could be one of 50...

Assume Matagi, Sironen, Topou, Beale
Matagi was confirmed to have signed with us rather quietly by phil Gould on his Twitter, a simple yes answer although this post will be deleted cause I can't be bothered scrolling down for a decade to find the link. He posts so ****ing much

Castleford Tigers have completed the signing of Samoan forward Jesse Sene-Lefao on a two-year deal from Cronulla Sharks......
At 26 years of age Jesse is having an early retirement in the English Super league

Damien Cook extends with Souths for a further 3 years after having his release request knocked back. Didn't really see that coming!
