2016 Tipping Comp Weekly Winners

In news just in, I failed to pick another bonus game. This week's bonus game is Storm and Broncos, and with both at near full strength it should be a tight game. A bit of valuable late mail is that I'm tipping the Storm, so if you are smart get aboard the Broncos.

A lot of tight games this weekend just gone, but in the end I think pretty much every favourite got up. So no surprise we had 9 tippers pick the full card and plenty more getting 6 from 7. Out of the perfect 9 one tipper got the Raiders winning margin spot on to take out the double pass to Brookie this week. Leaderboard still hasn't changed a lot at top, SDS has put a little gap into KE and the rest of the chasers. @The Army Of One has stormed into the top 10 after 3 good weeks.

Yes games were straight forward. Yes Semi played. Yes Cronulla broke their record. Yes Manly added a W to the results column. In even better news I finally got a bonus game right. Woohoo !!

Given that I managed 7 from 8 it will come as no surprise that we had multiple tippers who managed to get the full round. However given the flogging that the Storm handed the Broncos, who would get closest to that 42 point margin ? Most of the 9 tippers who picked the full card were banking on a closer result, but one had faith in the Storm and opted for a 22 point margin, which ended up being the closest. So well done to the artist formerly known as an amphibian lover and now an owner of a big beard @Moondog . I know you are an out of towner so not sure if the double pass to Brookie is any use. My run of bonus game picking extended to one. Bloody Panthers !! I wasn't alone on that front though, pretty much everyone got 3 from 4 this week. We did have two tippers who got all 4 games right. They also managed to pick the same margin as each other so we have a tie for first this round. Good job @Stuey Davis Socks and @Canteen Worker . Let me know if you would like the double pass to Brookie and PM your details (name and email).

Of course this means that @Stuey Davis Socks kicks another couple of points clear from the peleton. Building a nice little buffer now as we get down to the business end. Anyone further than 10 points back are going to struggle to figure in the finish at this late stage I feel....unfortunately I'm one of those as my tipping season has mirrored Manly's efforts. I'm looking at Mad Monday venues. Rumours abounding of @Dan getting brown paper bags full of tipping points in shady shopping centre car parks....how else to you storm into the top 5 from nowhere ?

I've only just learned lessons from early season games and started watching much more football than I was earlier in the season that's made it easier but I'd say my run toward the backend is going to be dodgy

So C&C, I've been doing some undercover journalism and I've uncovered that several of the above posters have been paid undeclared TPAs by the parramatta eels to make correct tips, bringing the Silvertails tipping comp into disrepute.
Can you please dock their points and put the n'pops on the top of the ladder. A press conference is scheduled for midday I believe.

So put your hand up if you didn't get 6 from 6. Seems I'm well in the minority though. The bonus game did go down to the wire though with a golden point field goal. Interestingly we had 4 tippers who tipped the whole round and also got within 1 point of the winning margin. I can't figure out if they all opted for a 2 point Manly win or whether they were too lazy to pick a winning score at all and left it as 0-0. So a four way tie between @Stiffi , @FlyingHigh , @Eagles2nv and @Andrew.. Well done gents let me know if you would like the double pass to Brookie and PM me your name and best email contact.

@Stuey Davis Socks just keeps on plugging in top scores week after week and has now managed to skip another point clear to take his lead out to 8 points with 7 rounds left.
