My prediction at the beginning of the year was Sharks v Broncos. And maybe if Bennett's head had been screwed on this year that would have happened.
I see the Sharks winning this one, by 10 points. They have hit form again at the right time of the season and are injury free. Plus they will have the crowd support advantage. I think last weekend's 1st half performance showed how badly they want this. I think they will have far too much firepower for the Storm, who didn't look nearly as impressive to me last night.

Sharkies are looking strong enough to win it, and I think they have the desire to lift the crown.

My concern for them is that Cronk/Smith are seasonal finalists and if it comes down to a tight one, they will take control of the game (like they did with canberra last night).

Being honest, Ennis ruins the gummies for me, however there better that the alternative.

God I hope Melbourne destroy the Sharks!!!!!!!! Biggest grubs in Ennis, Gallen & Fifita....a cheat in Graham, a coach that well just whinges constantly & an overall arrogant team! To me Storm have played well enough to win their games & have held back a little. I think the Sharks will choke big time & I'm tipping a score of 13+ Melbourne's way!! Oh yeah did I say I can't stand the Sharks!!

Wade Graham a cheat? WTF do you call 3 contracts Smith and his band of merry boat owners?

How any Manly supporter can hope the purple scum win a chook raffle, let alone a premiership, is completely beyond me.

I'm more interested in how Blake Green plays than the result.

I don't fancy either team. Cronulla lost me when they went with super league and their recent effort with peptides.

The drizzle epitomizes what our game has become. Grappling wresting win at all cost wankers. A club created and given as a gift to ribot who was the architect of super league. Aided and funded by news filth. Rortered and cheated for years and showed no remorse for their crime. That condemns them forever for me.

I hope now the sharks win but I fear that the premiership is decided based on evidence from last night that killed the raiders.

It's been a season to forget this year. Hopefully the game is decided fairly.

It's a tough choice but it's just so funny that the Sharks have never won and that laugh will be gone forever if they win. I'm not sure I can cope with that.

Whilst the storm have a divided mantle for their trophies. Ones they won while cheating and ones they got away with.

The cards have all fallen in Sharks favour....
Canberra had them destroyed until the momentum shift when Hodgson went off injured & the Cows were out on their feet from the Bronco's extended time bashathon the week before......
Now they are playing a defensive team which they can get into the grind with & does not USUALLY score many points....making this a Dogfight - Exactly what is best for Sharks....
Teams are pretty close in matchups - if anything...Sharks have more matchwinners than Storm - except 1 major factor...or 2...
    Smith & Cronk...
These 2 players are both proven Big Match specialists & will get it done.
There are a few Sharks who will be tested like never before in the big spotlight & I predict a few jittery players will be found out by these 2....no real preference - was actually hoping Penrith or Canberra could upset the more fancied rivals but...that's footy.

It's not so much about what Graham did, but it has a lot to do with my dislike of Gallen & that piece of sh%# Ennis. If you like Cronulla then that's your choice........I would support any other team whether it's Melbourne, Raiders, Panthers rather than those grubs from the Shire.

I think the Sharks will learn a lot from the loss they had to Melbourne the week before the finals. I see Sharks winning this one - they are back into form and on the upward.

The game against the Cowbys showed me that they believe they can win and they killed the Cows - regardless of the tiresome game they had to endure the week before - the Sharks were just too good. If you go through their team they have the perfect mix of experience and youth.

Even though I wanted Canberra to win last night, I said to a mate that they just don't have experienced leaders in that side to get them all the way - Melbourne's cool heads got them over the line. Sharks have the cool experienced heads like Maloney, Lewis etc. The trophy cabinet is about to be opened for the first time.

this grand final is probably the worst case scenario. I have no interest in it whatsoever. Canberra should've been there and they definitely had the Sharks measure imo.

If storm win we get to see the 50 year failures continue to do what they do best and it would be delightful seeing fifita, gallen and ennis in tears.

If cronulla win we get to see the storm be the embarrassment of the league and writing themselves in history books as the first team to go down to the Sharks.

Good point Andrew . Let us all hope that Green becomes a premiership winner so he can pass over the experience to our side .

If the refs have a set of wheels next week and tell Smith and gronk to p*ss off then the sharks have a chance.
I very much doubt it will happen though.
Nonetheless I'll be going for the sharks.
I couldn't go for the scum if they were playing Isis.
I could if they were playing the slime though.
    Go sharks.
