Cowboys also have a pretty decent 5/8 in Morgan. Solid defender, and great ball runner. Other 5/8 in the comp that do a similar role that would be ideal at Manly are Jack Bird, Maloney, Seizer, Townsend, Austin, Norman, etc. Of course, most of these have recently signed elsewhere except for bird, which could be an option if he is forced out of his favored 5/8 position and wants to look elsewhere.

Manly might look to the young rugby recruit Tom as a ball running type player to compliment DCE. If Daley is going to play the roaming role, which i think would be great, still need that all important second kick option. And i good solid defender at 5/8 is ideal. Interesting to see what TB goes with. Will just have to wait til next years trials to get an idea. Hope all the players have a real good successful off season, get over the injuries, get fit, bond and hit 2016 running

True. However Morgan is not your typical 5/8 and certainly plays second fiddle to JT in controlling the play.

So all we need is a solid defender and a good ball runner. How hard could it be? Buhrer anyone?

Please do not go silly and include Tom Wright as a first grader next year.
People are wishing without any background or even seen him play.
As I have stated on a few occasions it is a massive step up in defence from his school experiences.
....and a different code. He will need a minimum of 2 years in the lower grades.

St George Illawarra have sacked promising front-rower Addin Fonua-Blake for breaches in his NRL contract following allegations of assault in January.

The 19-year-old was charged with common assault after allegedly kicking his girlfriend in their Eastlakes home earlier this year.

He had since been stood down from all club activities and will be offered assistance and support from the club.

Dragons CEO Peter Doust said the club decided to terminate his contract after an investigation by the club and the NRL integrity unit.

"Addin's actions breached clauses in his contract and upon review of all information by the board of the Dragons, the decision was made that termination of his contract was the appropriate outcome," Doust said in a statement.

"This circumstance is unfortunate for both Addin and the club. Addin has been at our club for a number of years and was a player our coaching group had targeted for NRL this season." - AAP Reports

The NRL's Integrity Unit has been informed.

The matter will go to court at the end of this month and with respect to the judicial system, the Club will not be making any further comment.

Certainly don't want this guy. We've spent the whole season giving it to the women beaters of this competition and I for one won't be supporting this grub no matter how good he may be
