Manly's 2012 opening trial, WCC schedule confirmed
    22/11/2011 8:11:50 PM
The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will take on the Cronulla Sharks in the first of their matches leading into the 2012 NRL season.

The reigning Premiers will travel to Toyota Park for a twilight match on Friday, February 3.

(More details around times and tickets will be announced in the coming days, so stay tuned)

Our boys then head to England for the World Club Challenge against Leeds, to be played at the Rhinos’ home ground, Headingly Carnegie Stadium.

Kickoff will be at 8pm (local time) on Friday, February 17.

The two teams last met in the 2009 WCC - the Sea Eagles blazing to a 28-20 victory.

Made a suggestion to the @manlyseaeagles brookie oval for a BBQ breaky with a big screen on that morning

Which is being thought of now

Actually surprised of all the hate that Leeds are attracting for this game from other English club fans.
    Many are siding with us!

If the UK game is 8pm Fri night that will be 7am Sat morning our time - so not as early as in '09, which is good.

Could have an event at Brookvale Oval from 7.00am to 9.30am (gates open at 6.30am)?

When are they gonna play another game in Cairns?? There's a pretty decent supporter base here, and the last time they were here the Sea [/font]Eagles super-impressed the crowd when they hung around signing autographs for the kids while the Cowboys stormed off the field. Better than getting 1500 at Cronulla!
