Hi,I have just joined your forum, well done on a great site.Guys i need your help.
I have tried a number of avenues, including contacting the club, in an attempt to purchase a 1947 team photo of the Eagles first team in the NSWRL.I emailed Dan and he suggested i post this message. From what i can gather a fire in a storage building in Ryde around 18 months ago has destroyed a number of archives such as this one.Any assistance in obtaining this photo would be much appreciated. Thanks for your help.

I can email you a large file of that if required.
That image is from the "eagle has landed book", I cant do much about the crease which must've been in the original image used for the book.

Thanks to everyone who has responded, byso an email of the photo would be great and very much appreciated. The reason i require one is that i was able to win at auction in Melbourne an autographed page with the signatures of each member of this team.My vision is to frame it with the team photo. Thanks again for your kind assistance.
Looking at the photo its a pity the grass is not as well maintained as the hair cuts and styles.

Outstanding auction win dude. Good luck with the framing of an awesome piece of Manly memorabilia.
