    If I could change one thing immediately it would be ruling on forward passes. That pass from Kikau to Burton was a shocker as was the Mahoney pass for Hughes before half time. Even the half-wits in the bunker could rule on those two... The only upside here is seeing Easts get rogered... :)

    A Souths supporting mate of mine also noted the fitness that Manly had especially later in the second half - he was quite disappointed that the Bunnies just ran out of puff... He also commented on how well DCE went.

    I have to agree with @Captain Moondog on most of that, but I've got the Raiders in the number 1 position for most hated team! The Donkeys are a close 2nd leaving the rest to fight it out for 3rd. None of this "second team" crap for me... :)

    Just had a quick look at the list of premiers from way back and St George and/or Souths were at the pointy end every year from 1949 to 1971 inclusive... Must've been monotonous if you didn't support one of those two!

    You'd have to think that the current 'riff team will be lurking at (or near) the top of the heap for quite a few more years. If that eventuates then they'd be regarded as one of the best ever. Souths had a handy team late 60s to early 70s as well.
